Smart Inverter Compliance Database
Recent changes to California's Rule 21 require inverters to have advanced functionality for all new interconnection applications submitted on or after September 8, 2017. This covers seven autonomous functions developed by California's Smart Inverter Working Group. UL has developed a testing protocol for certification under the new rules, known as UL 1741 Supplement A (SA). The following list contains inverter models that CALSEIA knows to be compliant. This may not be a comprehensive list. Distributors and manufacturers may have details on models not shown below.
This list is for information only. The California Energy Commission maintains the official list that is used by the utilities in their interconnection portals. CEC only updates their list once a month, usually in the first week of the month. The list below is intended to provide information on recent and expected certification that is not included on the CEC list.
