Smart Inverter Compliance Database

Recent changes to California's Rule 21 require inverters to have advanced functionality for all new interconnection applications submitted on or after September 8, 2017. This covers seven autonomous functions developed by California's Smart Inverter Working Group. UL has developed a testing protocol for certification under the new rules, known as UL 1741 Supplement A (SA). The following list contains inverter models that CALSEIA knows to be compliant. This may not be a comprehensive list. You can check with distributors and manufacturers for more information.
