Regional Sales Manager, Northwest, TEN K Solar

Ten K Solar and our employees are passionately committed to fundamentally changing the future of solar, and we are looking for a Northwestern US Sales Manager who can help drive our sales efforts. As a key member of the team, the Northwestern Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing a regional sales effort, and for contributing to the shaping and driving sales strategies, systems and processes. The Sales Manager will develop and execute short and long range sales plans and programs for the Ten K Solar regional sales and channel partners, and will be directly responsible for expanding the reach and depth of relationships with Ten K Solar’s key partners and customers. This position will report to the Director of Sales and work with other Ten K Solar sales leaders, Inside Sales, Sales Operations, and Field Service functions. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive product sales, solutions, and support strategy that will allow the company to sell the company’s differentiated solutions and achieve target growth plans
• Efficiently manage the territory customers and channel partners to achieve stronger customer relationships
• Expand sales in the Northwestern U.S., particularly Northern CA, and develop a regional sales strategy through use of direct and channel partners
• Drive customer acquisition and retention programs through deployment of marketing and brand awareness programs
• Participate in the development and management of sales incentive and rewards programs
• Maintain accountability, discipline and process within the sales organization; utilize processes and systems that will allow for greater predictability and repeatability in sales forecasts
• Reporting to management on forecasting and sales projections within accounts
• Participate in Sales Team trainings with enthusiastic and constructive attitude

Skills Required: Qualifications

• Minimum BS or BA in Business or related field
• Possess proven sales, management and business skills and savvy to be able to effectively operate in a dynamic business environment. Previous sales experience and demonstrated skills operating in a mid-sized company in a high-growth environment
• Direct experience in commercial scale PV sales
• Proven success at rapid growth significantly ahead of market growth rates
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience for a specified region – previous experience with inside sales, sales operations, and field service preferred
• Track record of promotions to increasing levels of responsibility
• Previous experience with sales management tools, such as Salesforce
• Regional experience and perspective essential

Position Location: San Francisco, Bay Area

Salary: 100K base + commission
